Instant Pot Craze
So! For Christmas I was gifted something that I never thought I would fall in love with... an Instant Pot!! I'm seriously in a very exclusive relationship with my IP and I am not ashamed one bit. Don't get me wrong, I love my slow cooker very much as well but let's be real for a minute, the fact that you can take a whole frozen piece of meat and have it fully cooked to perfection in like 15-30 minutes is MIND BLOWING!
I have 3 top reasons of why the Instant Pot is so great and why I think everyone should own one!
1. Huge time saver. As a full-time employee and full-time student, this is great. My hobby is cooking so the fact that I can still cook dinner for my family AND get everything else I need to get done and go to bed at a decent hour is extremely fulfilling.
2. Easy clean up. The clean up for this thing seriously takes maybe 5 minutes. It's just a pot, you save your left-overs, if any, then you clean the pot. That's it! It has minimized the amount of dishes I do on a nightly basis by a ton. I would say it's pretty convenient for anyone.
3. Very user friendly. Honestly, anyone can use this baby! The buttons are pretty self explanatory; Soup, Poultry, Meat/Stew, Bean/Chili, Sauté, Rice, Multigrain, Steam, Slow Cook.. and there's more depending on the model you have! It comes with a user manual to refer to if needed and it does come in handy to learn all the col tricks that it can do!
I have made a handful of different recipes that are absolutely fool proof and will definitely become favorites of the families!
