Instant Pot Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients
- 4 to 10 Chicken Drumsticks
- 1/4 C Sweet Paprika
- 4 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp: celery salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, dry mustard, ground cumin.
Instructions
1. Add 3/4 cups of water in the instant pot. Place the trivet inside.
2. Place chicken drumsticks on the trivet and close the lid tightly; close the vent.
3. Press Poultry function on the IP and set the time to 20 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to broil. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
5. When the timer goes off, release pressure naturally. Open the lid and take out the drumsticks.
6. Coat drumsticks with the BBQ rub evenly.
7. Place the drumsticks on the lines cookie sheet and broil for 2 minutes per side until the skin is browned. Be careful not to burn them.
8. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes:
- This recipe is great without the BBQ rub, you can cook the drumsticks and have them plane or even with your own BBQ sauce!
