Instant Pot Pork Chops with a Creamy Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 pork chops, 1-inch thick
- 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 C chicken broth
- 1/4 C garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbso arrowroot
- 1/2 C almond milk, plain and unsweetened
Instructions
1. Set your Instant Pot to saute. When display reads hot, heat the butter.
2. Season meat with salt and pepper, and brown the chops on both sides. Remove the chops and deglaze the pan with the chicken broth.
3. Return pork chops to the cooker and cover with the minced garlic cloves.
4. Using the manual setting on the instant pot, adjust to high pressure and set cooking time to 8 minutes. When time is up, allow pressure to naturally release. Set chops aside.
5. Stir the arrowroot into the almond milk, add to the pan juices and bring to a boil, by using the saute setting. Stir and allow to thicken for about 2 to 3 minutes.
